BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech rising junior goalkeeper Mandy McGlynn continues her journey with the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team as the squad prepares for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup which begins in August.
The team is currently gathering in Portland, Oregon, from June 25 through July 12 for the final training camp before U.S. head coach Jitka Klimkova chooses a 21-player roster for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. CLICK HERE for more information.
Previously, the team just finished competing in France participating in the Tournoi Maurice Revello Sud Ladies Cup that featured U-20 WNTs from Germany, France and Haiti. All four teams in the round-robin tournament qualified for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, making the competition a valuable dress rehearsal for group play at the World Cup.
