BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men's tennis team takes to the road for the final time in the regular season, traveling to Georgia Tech on Thursday, March 29 followed by Clemson on Saturday, March 31.

THE HOKIES (10-6, 1-5 ACC)
Virginia Tech split last weekend, picking up an ACC road win against Boston College, 7-0. Tech won the doubles point and secured five of the six singles matches in straight sets with Mitch Harper, Alex Ribeiro, Carlo Donato, Henrik Korsgaard and George Cartledge rolling to wins.
Harper enters the weekend ranked 53rd in the ITA and has a 7-5 record this spring. Ribeiro adds a 12-3 tally while Donato is 10-4. Jason Kros posting an 8-6 mark.
THE YELLOW JACKETS (5-10, 1-4 ACC)
Georgia Tech dropped a 4-3 decision at No. 49 Louisville last weekend. The Cardinals won the doubles point, but the Yellow Jackets picked up three wins in singles as Michael Kay, Andrew Li and Chris Yun won at the four, five and six, respectively.
Carlos Divar is ranked 54th for Georgia Tech entering into the weekend. He is 5-8 at the one this spring. Kay is posting a 10-4 tally, including 6-2 at the five. Yun is 5-7 on the spring. Divar and Kay rank 11th in the doubles standings and are 10-4 at the one.
THE TIGERS (7-5, 2-3 ACC)
Clemson fell to Virginia 4-2 last weekend. After winning the doubles point, Clemson fell behind in singles. Simon Baudry claimed the win on court two to round out the scoring for the Tigers.
Alex Favrot is 47th for the Tigers with a 5-4 record at the one this spring. Baudry is adding an 8-4 mark, including 6-3 on two. Carlos Kelaidis is 7-4. Favort and Baudry are also ranked in doubles with a 6-3 mark at one.
UP NEXT: The Hokies return home to start a five match home stand to close out the regular season. Tech is set to host Florida State on Friday, April 6 followed by Miami on Sunday, April 8.
