GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Duke redshirt senior guard Lexie Brown has been named the recipient of the 10th annual Kay Yow Scholar Athlete of the Year Award for the second consecutive year and headlines the 2017-18 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Academic Team.
Two Hokies, Taylor Emery and Regan Magarity were named to the team.
Emery, a junior from Tampa, Florida who studies creative writing, earns her first selection in her first year with the Hokies.
Magarity, a three-time selection is a redshirt junior studying multimedia journalism.
Emery, Magarity and the Hokies take on No. 4 Louisville in the Quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon. Coverage is available through Regional Sports Networks.
