BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech lacrosse team will play host to nationally ranked Duke from the Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Feb. 24. First draw is set for 3 p.m.
The Hokies (2-2) have enjoyed two wins in the past week, defeating Old Dominion 20-3 over the weekend and beating Campbell 17-8 Wednesday afternoon.
Freshman Emma Crooks got her first career start and went on to record one of the best games in Virginia Tech history, scoring eight goals against the Camels. She did so on just eight shots, and also recorded five draw controls.

Meagh Graham was solid protecting the net, making 13 saves versus Campbell, and only allowing a single tally against the Monarchs.
Transfer Julia Bolte facilitated the offense with five assists in midweek, while Marissa Davey had two.
The Blue Devils (3-0) travel to Blacksburg after defeating Northwestern 9-8 in its last game. Freshman Charlotte North scored three times, and leads Duke with 12 on the season.
THE SERIES: Duke leads the all-time series 19-1. Last season, head coach John Sung and the Hokies knocked off the Blue Devils 11-6 in Durham, North Carolina to earn the program's first win over their ACC foe.
Marissa Davey scored four goals and she assisted on another, as Tristan McGinley and Emma Harden each added two goals apiece. Meagh Graham secured 11 saves in goal a season ago.
NEXT UP: The Hokies will continue their home stand on Wednesday, Feb. 28 when they take on the George Mason Patriots from the Indoor Practice Facility. First draw is slated for 7 p.m.
In last season's meeting, the Hokies won an 11-10 overtime game after a game-winning goal from Kristine Loscalzo.
