BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech baseball team completed its second week of the fall season today, which included a pair of intrasqaud scrimmages on Wednesday night and Thursday morning at English Field at Union Park. The Hokies played four innings under the lights last night before a five-inning affair this morning. National Baseball writer Aaron Fitt, of D1Baseball.com, stopped by Wednesday night to tour the facility and watch some Tech baseball. He will be posting a story later this week as part of the organization's fall report series.
The Hokies will hold two scrimmages each week through the month of October and will finish the fall in November with their Fall World Series - November 1-3.
