Hokie ClubGREENSBORO, N.C. – Chanette Hicks was selected by the Blue Ribbon Panel as a preseason All-ACC performer, the league announced Thursday from the Charlotte Westin at ACC Media Day.
Hicks was a dynamic playmaker for the Hokies in 2016-17, starting 33 of 34 games and leading Tech in points (16.1 per game). The Norfolk, Virginia native contributed 3.7 rebounds and was third best in the league averaging 5.2 assists. Hicks led the conference and was fifth nationally in steals, totaling 123, eclipsing her own program record of 91 set during the 2015-16 season.
