BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente confirmed Wednesday that sophomore cornerback Adonis Alexander and redshirt freshman defensive end Houshun Gaines have been reinstated to the roster. Both players will miss the 2016 season opener against Liberty on Sept. 3. Fuente indicated that if they continue to follow the parameters set for them that they would not miss any further contests.
