Hokies host WVU on Senior Night Friday

BLACKSBURG - The 10th-ranked Hokies will open the weekend by playing host to the Moutaineers of West Virginia before heading out on the road to take on the University of Virginia as part of the Commonwealth Clash.

Tech enters the weekend fresh off victories over Northern Iowa and then-15th ranked North Carolina, moving to 9-2 on the season and 1-0 against league competition.

Up First
The 10th-ranked Hokies will face WVU at 7 PM in their final home dual meet of the season. Friday’s match will also be this year’s Senior Night, where Tech will honor four graduating student-athletes for their contributions to the program over their time in Blacksburg. Nick Brascetta, Austin Gabel, Dan Garwood and Brandon Taylor will be recognized during Friday’s match.

And Then ...
The Hokies head to Charlottesville to continue ACC competition, facing the Hoos for the first time this season. This match is presented by Virginia529, the official college savings plan of Virginia Tech Athletics. It is also a potential half point in the Virginia529 Commonwealth Clash, the point rivalry series between the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech.
