Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced today that tryouts for the 2013-14 Spirit Squads, which includes both the cheerleading squad and the Virginia Tech dance team, the HighTechs, will be held July 26-27. Tryouts will be held in Rector Field House on the campus of Virginia Tech. Any Virginia Tech student wishing to tryout must also fill out the application located on the tryout web page (listed above) for both the cheer squad and HighTechs and turn it in at the registration table upon arrival. Registration will begin at 4 p.m., Friday, July 26 at the entrance to Rector Field House.
An additional tryout will be held once classes resume in the fall for those individuals who are unable to attend the first tryout. Dates and times will be determined and released in mid to late August.
