CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – With a lot on the line, the Virginia Tech men’s soccer team travels to Boston College for another crucial ACC match on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The Hokies are currently in 11th place in the ACC standings while Boston College sits two spots ahead in ninth place. With a win the Hokies could jump into one of those coveted top eight spots, as only eight teams make the ACC tournament this year.
Senior Robert Alberti leads the Hokies this year with 14 points on the strength of six goals and two assists while sophomore Kai Marshall has recorded seven points (three goals, one assist) this season.
Senior goalkeeper Kyle Renfro has been stellar for Tech and boasts a .098 goals against average as well as a .839 save percentage.
Zeiko Lewis leads Boston College with 15 points on the strength of two goals and 11 assists. Lewis' tally of 11 assists currently leads the ACC. Giuliano Frano is not far behind Lewis with 10 points (four goals, two assists) this season.
Two goalkeepers have seen time for Boston College this season and have a combined 1.59 goals against average and a combined .627 save percentage.
