Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech-East Carolina football game on Sept. 14 will kick off at noon, as announced by the Conference USA office on Tuesday. Fox Sports Net will televise the game, which will be played in Greenville, N.C.
The Hokies hold a 12-5 edge in the series and have won nine of the past 10 times these two teams have met. Tech has won on its past four trips to Greenville.
Tech opens the 2013 season on Aug. 31 when it takes on Alabama in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The kickoff time for that game is 5:30 p.m.
