Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech women’s basketball student-athlete Uju Ugoka will miss early games of the 2012-13 schedule as a result of circumstances that occurred prior to her commitment to Tech.
As a result of a minor violation of amateurism regulations which occurred prior to her arrival at Virginia Tech, Ugoka will be withheld a maximum of nine games at the start of the 2012-13 season. Virginia Tech is working with the NCAA staff to seek a reduction in this sanction.
