ACC Champions Ryan Hawkins, Gregory Mahon and Zach McGinnis were named All-Americans from the men’s squad, while divers Logan Kline and Kelli Stockton earned All America honors for the women. Each H2Okie earned the All America accolade by virtue of having a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and qualifying for the NCAA Championships.

Matt Baumler, Kyle Butts, Jake Ores, Blake Trabuchi-Downey and Nick Tremols were placed on the Scholar All America Honorable Mention men’s team, while Alyssa Bodin earned honorable mention honors for the women. Each maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the semester or cumulative average, achieved a “B” standard time during the 2011-12 campaign, but did not qualify for the NCAA Championships.

This is the fourth academic honor that Hawkins and Kline have received this season. Hawkins was a third team selection of the Capital One Academic All-America Division I Men’s At-Large team, as well as the Capital One Academic All-District and All-ACC Academic teams.
