FormerVirginia Tech track & field athlete and three-time NCAA Champion QueenHarrison advanced to the semifinal round of the women’s 400-meter hurdles atthe IAAF World Track & Field Championships in Daegu, South Korea on Mondaymorning.
Harrison,representing the United States, finished third in her heat. She clocked thesixth-fastest qualifying time overall, finishing in 55.11 seconds.
Thesemifinal round of the 400m hurdles takes place tomorrow, Aug. 30, with thefinal occurring on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
