Hokie ClubThe Virginia Tech men’s basketball team and the SGA Hokies On Fire committee announces their annual Blackout game this Sunday when they host Georgia Tech at 1:00 pm in Cassell Coliseum. Fans can purchase the official SGA Blackout t-shirt for only $10 at any University Bookstore location or on the day of the game at the Cassell Coliseum HokieShop or Promotions Booth. All proceeds from sales of the Blackout T-shirts are being donated to the Virginia Tech Relay For Life in honor of former Tech basketball player, Allen Calloway.
“Allen embodied the true Hokie Spirit,” Greenberg said. “This is just one way for us to keep his memory alive while helping fight the disease that took his life.”
General public tickets for the Georgia Tech game are sold out. Individuals wishing to make a private donation can do so by emailing the Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball Office at shspradl@vt.edu or by mailing a check made out to the American Cancer Society to: Men’s Basketball Calloway Tribute, Jamerson Athletic Center, Blacksburg, VA 24061. No credit card orders will be taken
