The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced today student ticket information for the men’s basketball game versus Wake Forest this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. in Cassell Coliseum. Due to students being on winter break, approximately 400 student tickets are still available and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis the day of the game. Virginia Tech students can pick-up a ticket by showing their Hokie Passport at the student ticket window in Cassell Coliseum beginning at 6:30 p.m. Limit one ticket per student. All general public tickets for the Wake Forest game are sold out.
In the event all remaining student tickets are distributed, a stand-by line will be formed on the East side of Cassell Coliseum closest to the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center. Students in the standby line will be admitted into the game closer to tip-off by showing their Hokie Passport to fill any unoccupied seats in the student section.
Former Tech basketball great, Ace Custis, will be honored during the game as part of the season-long celebration of 50 seasons of basketball in Cassell Coliseum. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative game day button featuring Custis. At halftime, America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Acrodunk will perform.
