Hokies host Connecticut in Second Round of NIT

BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Virginia Tech Athletics Department and the Hokies men’s basketball team has announced that 308 student tickets for the Virginia Tech-Connecticut game on Monday, March 22, have been purchased by donors and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. To donate tickets, call the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800 VA TECH4 or (540) 231-6731. As more tickets are purchased with the intent of donating them to students, the number of tickets available will be updated.

Complimentary tickets will be handed out to Virginia Tech students at the East Side entrance (Basketball Practice Facility side) to Cassell Coliseum as they enter the game. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and all seats are general admission. Students picking up their ticket must have a valid Virginia Tech I.D. card. A limit of one ticket per student.

Once the donated allotment has been exhausted, students can purchase tickets at a charge of $5 per ticket, by going to the Athletics Ticket Office in front of Cassell Coliseum.

As of 8:00 a.m., Monday, March 22, 1013 tickets have been purchased for VT students.
