Tickets for NIT game donated for Tech students

BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Virginia Tech Athletics Department and the Hokies men’s basketball team has announced that 398 student tickets for the Virginia Tech-Quinnipiac NIT game on Wednesday, March 17, have been purchased by donors and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. As more tickets are purchased with the intent of donating them to students, the number of tickets available will be updated.

Complimentary tickets will be handed out to Virginia Tech students at the East Side entrance (Basketball Practice Facility side) to Cassell Coliseum as they enter the game. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and all seats are general admission. Students picking up their ticket must have a valid Virginia Tech I.D. card. A limit of one ticket per student.

Once the donated allotment has been exhausted, students can purchase tickets at a charge of $5 per ticket, by going to the Athletics Ticket Office in front of Cassell Coliseum.

As of 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 1653 tickets have been purchased for VT students.
