COLUMBUS, Ohio – Charlie Higgins competed in the 100 backstroke and Mikey McDonald and Logan Shinhoser contended in the three-meter event on Saturday in day two of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion at Ohio State.
Higgins, competing in his first event of the championships, finished 25th in the 100 backstroke with a preliminary finish of 47.65.
Shinholser and McDonald took 25th and 26th, respectively, in the three-meter event. Shinholser scored 312.30 points, while McDonald finished with 306.45 points.
Sunday will mark the final day of the NCAA meet, with preliminary events starting at noon, and finals commencing at 7 pm. Higgins will swim in the 200 backstroke, while Shinholser and McDonald will compete in the platform event. Live results can be found here.
