Former Tech quarterback playing in Richmond

Former Tech quarterback Bryan Randall made his debut for theRichmond Revolution, a professional team in the Indoor Football League, onMarch 6. Randall, who holds the school records for career passing and careertotal offense, threw for 240 yards and seven touchdowns, with just oneinterception, guiding the Revolution to a 49-37 victory over the BloomingtonExtreme in Bloomington, Ill.

There are other former Tech players on the team as well.Former defensive ends Lawrence Lewis and Noland Burchette play, along withformer rover Michael Crawford and former walk-on Chris Segaar. Former Techfullback Brian Edmonds serves as the team’s running backs coach.

The Revolution open their home slate on Saturday, March 13,at the Arthur Ashe Athletic Center. Kickoff is slated for 7:05 p.m. For moreinformation on the team, check out the team’s Web site atwww.richmondrevolution.com.
