Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG, Va. – The afternoon volleyball matches on Sept. 5 for the VT Tournament have been moved up an hour, as announced Wednesday the Virginia Tech Athletics Department.
The Norfolk State vs. East Carolina match, previously scheduled for 5 p.m., will be moved to 4 p.m., while Tech’s match against Arkansas, originally set for 7 p.m., will begin at 6 p.m.
The time changes allow Tech fans to attend the volleyball match before the start of the Virginia Tech-Alabama football game at 8 p.m.
The matches on Friday Sept. 4 and the morning matches of Sept. 5, Arkansas vs. East Carolina at 10 a.m. and Tech vs. Norfolk State at noon, will remain at the same scheduled times.
