Hokies and Tribe battle to 1-1 draw in first exhibition game

Blacksburg, Va.- The Hokie men’s soccer team opened up their season with an exhibition game on Saturday night, battling William & Mary to a 1-1 tie.

Sophomore Emmanuel Akogyeram, who totaled six goals last year, scored for Tech and Nathaniel Baako scored for the Tribe. For the Hokies, Brendan Dunn and Stefan Caulfield each played a half in goal. The Hokies out shot the Tribe, 10-7.
