Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – The brackets for Saturday’s 2009 ACC Wrestling Championships were released Friday night following a seeding meeting and draw by the coaches. Fifty-eight wrestlers will compete in 10 weight classes starting Saturday at 11 a.m., in Cassell Coliseum for one of 27 automatic bids to the NCAA Championships.
For Virginia Tech, two wrestlers earned top seeds at their respective weight class. Freshman Jarrod Garnett earned the honor at 125 pounds while sophomore Tommy Spellman is seeded first at 184 pounds.
