Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech women’s lacrosse team has released the dates of its four fall competitions. The Hokies will begin their fall schedule Saturday, Oct. 3, in an all-day event at home, which features Davidson and Longwood. Games will run from 12:30-4:15 p.m. with Tech in action at 1:50 and 3:10 p.m.
The following Friday, Oct. 9, Tech will face James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, Va., at 3 p.m.
The Hokies will make the trip to Fairfax, Va., on Saturday, Oct. 16, for the George Mason Fall Tournament. The all day event will feature the host team, as well as Georgetown, George Washington and Drexel.
In their final event of the fall, the Hokies will wrap things up at Duke on Sunday, Oct. 25 with all day competition there as well. In Durham, Tech will face the likes of Duke Richmond, Davidson, Florida and Louisville.
The Hokies are returning 10 starters from last year’s squad after losing Kari Morrison and Rachel Culp to graduation. Tech also welcomes 15 newcomers to the squad for the upcoming season.
