Bethesda, MD – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports television, announced today that Virginia Tech Sports Today, the 30-minute show all about Hokies’ athletics, will air each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. The program will debut at its new time slot on Sunday, Jan. 11, and air weekly throughout the remainder of the 2008-09 athletic season.
Virginia Tech Sports Today features interviews and game analysis from head football coach Frank Beamer, head basketball coach Seth Greenberg, women’s basketball coach Beth Dunkenberger and current and former Virginia Tech athletes. The show also includes features, interviews and updates from all of the Hokies’ 21 athletic teams.
Comcast SportsNet will also air 42 ACC men’s and 33 ACC women’s basketball games this winter. The network will air the ACC women’s basketball tournament beginning Thursday, March 5.
