Hokie ClubAnthony Sosnoskie, who on Monday was named the ACC Baseball Player of the Week, was also named one of 12 national players of the week by RecruitingCloser.com, a Web site that covers college baseball with the objective of educating high school players and parents about the recruiting process.
The junior catcher earned MVP honors at the Courtyard by Marriott Classic in Spartanburg, S.C., last weekend after hitting .643 with three home runs, two doubles, seven runs scored, seven RBIs and six bases on balls. He turned in a slugging percentage of 1.429 and an on-base percentage of .750.
