Weaver teed off in the morning from the10th tee and made the turn at one-over-par, but shot atwo-under-par 33 on the front side, his second nine of the day.Weaver, a rising senior from nearby High Point, N.C., had fourbirdies and three bogeys on Thursday. He is currently tied for 76thplace.
On Friday afternoon, Weaver will teeoff from the first tee at 1:50 p.m. He is grouped with Bob Heintz andTommy Gainey. Heintz shot a seven-under-par 63 and is tied for thefirst round lead with Martin Laird.
