Castlin concludes competition at Olympic Trials

EUGENE, Ore. – Virginia Tech hurdler Kristi Castlinconcluded the Hokies’ participation in the 2008 U.S. Track and Field OlympicTrials by running in the semifinals of the women’s 100-meter hurdles on Sunday.

The rising junior from Douglasville, Ga., finished 13thin the field of 16 after completing the race in 13.00 seconds. She made it tothe semis after placing 11th in the quarterfinal heats on Saturdaywith a time of 12.93 seconds.
