Virginia Tech ISP Sports Network Radio Affiliate WNNT-FM in Warsaw, Virginia has changed frequencies to 107.5 FM, and has received FCC approval to double its power to 6,000 watts, increasing its coverage area in Virginia’s Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
The Northern Neck’s oldest radio station, and long-time home of Virginia Tech sports, “River Country” 100.9 has moved up the dial to 107.5 FM.
“More power will give us a stronger and clearer signal for our rural listeners who count on us,” said Rich Morgan, President of Real Media Communications Group, which locally owns and operates WNNT. “We’ve built our reputation on live, local coverage and full service to the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula area.”
Virginia Tech’s game with Maryland tomorrow night, and all future broadcasts, can be heard on River Country WNNT-FM’s new frequency, 107.5 FM
