OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Former Virginia Tech pitcher Angela Tincher was named to the 2008 WCWS All-Tournament Team, as announced Tuesday night following Arizona State's 11-0 championship victory over Texas A&M. The win marked the first title in softball for ASU.

Tincher, the USA Softball National Player of the Year, will make her pro debut next weekend when the Akron Racers host defending league champion Washington Glory. The Racers open the season this weekend at Chicago, but Tincher will not head to her new summer home until this weekend.
