BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech Athletics Department and the Hokies men's basketball team have announced that 3,000 student tickets for the Virginia Tech-UAB NIT game on Monday, March 24, have once again been purchased by donors and head coach Seth Greenberg and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Once again, our fans provided outstanding energy and enthusiasm during the first round game Wednesday night," Greenberg said. "We need that same energy and enthusiasm each and every game, as we continue throughout this tournament."
Students can pick-up a complimentary ticket at the basketball ticket office located in Cassell Coliseum between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Friday, March 21. Students picking up their ticket must have a valid Virginia Tech I.D. card. A limit of one ticket per student.
Once the donated allotment has been exhausted, students can purchase tickets at a charge of $5 per ticket, by logging on to www.hokietickets.com or by going to the Lane Stadium Athletics Ticket Office.
