At Virginia Tech: Shannon is a Resident Athletic Trainer with Virginia Tech Football
Prior to Virginia Tech: Shannon attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training where she graduated in 2021. While at the University of Florida, she worked with UF football, men's/women's swim and dive, women’s soccer, and Santa Fe High School.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Shannon worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at New Mexico State University. While at New Mexico State University, she worked directly with the Football and Women's Tennis teams.
Education: University of Florida, 2021 (Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Minor in Disabilities in Society); New Mexico State University, 2023 (Master of Arts in Education)
Of Note: Shannon has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) since 2021. She is a licensed Athletic Trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions and is a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
Personal: Shannon is from Jacksonville, Florida and currently resides in Christiansburg, Virginia.
