Patrick Ryan

Responsibilities: Ryan manages the ticket and premium sales teams.

Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2020

At Virginia Tech: Beginning in January of 2020, Ryan has established Virginia Tech’s retention, premium, and new ticket sales teams. He also has helped with staff sales/customer service training and sales strategies.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Ryan served as General Manager of Ticket Sales at the University of Maine from 2017-2019. Previously was in ticket sales in professional soccer with North Carolina Football Club/NC Courage (2013-2017) and the Boston Breakers (2013).

Education: University of New Hampshire, 2012 (B.S. Sports Studies); Husson University, 2019 (Masters of Business Administration)

Of Note: During the 2020 football season, the ticket sales team won Learfield IMG College’s Play of the Year award for the Lane Stadium Virtual Sellout and his team won the Learfield Clyde award for Property of the Year for the 2021-22 season. He is also a former men’s soccer student athlete at the University of New Hampshire.

Personal: A native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Ryan currently resides in Christiansburg, VA.
