Assistant Director, Sport-Specific Giving

Responsibilities: Oversees sport-specific fundraising campaigns for the Hokie Club, working with all 22 sports programs at Virginia Tech. Primary liaison for sport Pledge Per programs, Crowdfunders, and Triumph Together.

Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2022

Prior to Virginia Tech: Served as a Development Intern for the Gamecock Club and Volunteer Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of South Carolina. Previously worked as a Development Intern for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and a Student-Athlete Development Intern at the University of Iowa.

Education: University of South Carolina, 2022 (MBA, Marketing); University of Iowa, 2020 (BBA, Management)

Of Note: Played collegiate tennis at the University of Iowa from 2016-2021, and previously held international junior and professional rankings. Served as SAAC President and Big Ten SAAC Representative during his time at Iowa,winning Hawkeye of the Year Award in 2018. Winner of both the Big Ten and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships.

Personal: A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Jason currently resides in Christiansburg.
