2007-08: Posted the 21st-best time in the 400 IM, 28th place in the 200 butterfly and 29th in the 200 IM at the ACC Championships ... Took 15th in the 400 IM, 22nd in the 200 butterfly and 27th in the 200 IM at the Nike Cup.

High School: Swam for Weddington H.S. and the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club (MAC) ... A Scholastic All-American for USA Swimming ... Finished his high school career as a multi-time state finalist and junior national qualifier, including several relay victories at the state championships and a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM his senior year ... Recognized by the MAC for his dedication to the team and for his leadership skills.
