2007-08: Took 17th in the 200 back and 18th in the 100 back at the Nike Cup ... Recorded a season-best time in the 100 back during the opening leg of the 400 medley relay at the Nike Cup.

High School: Attended Hopewell H.S. and also swam for the Poseidon Swimming Club ... Earned second-team all-metro honors in the 100 and 200 back as a senior ... Captured first place in the 100 and 200 back at the VA Senior Championship ... A US Open and Junior National qualifier ... Helped break the state record in the 400 medley relay ... Earned first-team all-metro honors the first three years ... A scholastic All-American ... A member of both the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society.
