2007-08: Placed 25th in the 200 butterfly, 31st in the 200 free and 33rd in the 500 free at the ACC Championships ... Took 10th in the 500 free, 11th in the 200 butterfly and 16th in the 200 free, while helping one of Tech's 800 free relay teams finish eighth as the Hokies won the Nike Cup team title.

High School: Swam at J.L. Mann Academy and with the club team, the Middle Tyger Y-Spartaquatics ... Won the state championship in the 100 butterfly his junior and senior year ... Earned All-State honors both years and as a sophomore ... Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly at the 2007 YMCA National Long Course Championships ... Helped the club team win the 200 and 400 medley relay races at the event ... Was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Robert Seth Farr was born April 23, 1989, in Marion, S.C. ... Son of Bobby and Michelle Farr ... Majoring in ocean engineering.
