He has done extremely well and we are expecting him to enter into our program and be able to contribute right away. Matthieu is very physically fit and will be able to handle the demands of our college tennis season. He will certainly provide us with the type of depth necessary to compete in the ACC and I think he will be a key player in this program in the coming years."

Junior Tennis/High School: Was second (1997) and third (1998) at the French Junior Championships ... Semifinalist at 1997 and 1998 International French tournament ... Won 1999 doubles title at French Junior Championships.

Odds and Ends: Born 2/2/85 in Fontenay, France ... Son of Jean Louis and Capitini Mireille Leboucher ... Majoring in business.
