BLACKSBURG – On the heels of a double overtime victory against Cal last Friday, Virginia Tech will welcome Louisville for the sixth home game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. ET, broadcast on The CW. The Hokies, who are seeking to achieve consecutive wins for the second time this season, will be facing off against a Cardinals team (6-1, 3-1 ACC) that has won its last two games. With exciting seasonal festivities making gameday that much more special, here are Five Things to Know when Virginia Tech hosts Louisville this upcoming weekend.
- Fall Fest at Lane Stadium – Saturday’s contest will feature an assortment of fall-themed celebrations for fans of all ages to enjoy! Make your way to Lane Stadium for unique activities and contests, themed giveaways, and varying seasonal treats throughout the afternoon matchup. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the maroon and orange leaves around Blacksburg at the game this weekend!
- Hokie Village – Alongside the plethora of Fall Fest celebrations on Saturday, be sure to stop by Hokie Village before you find your seat in Lane Stadium! This week’s fan festivities include inflatables, live music, food trucks, and so much more. Hokie Village will open at 11:30 a.m. and close at 2:15 p.m. ET for the contest. Make sure to stop by!
- Pregame Shows – Before the Hokies and Cardinals kick off on Saturday, look to the sky as the U.S. Army Golden Knights descend into Lane Stadium via parachute! Make sure to be in your seat 30 minutes prior to kickoff in order to see the display of skill and accuracy on Saturday afternoon!
- Single Game Parking Passes - Single-game parking passes for the remaining Virginia Tech football home games (Louisville and Miami) are on sale now. Claim your spot in Lot 8 or Lot 16 (both general admission) to get set for a full day of Hokie tailgating and football!
