Hokie ClubLOUISVILLE, Ky. – Tech falls to Louisville Friday evening, shutout 4-0.
The Hokies put up a strong effort in doubles, with duo No. 65 Matt Harper and Alberto Orso notching a 6-4 win on Court No. 1. Tech was unable to grab a second win, the Cardinals going up 1-0 to open the match.
The Hokies tried to climb back in singles, Ilyas Fahim and Eyal Shumilov getting a jumpstart with first-set wins. Ultimately, Louisville won on Courts No. 1, 3, and 4, clinching their win.
Tech makes their way to Notre Dame on Sunday, March 30, to face No. 63 Fighting Irish at noon.
