ACC announces 2024-25 men’s basketball opponents

BLACKSBURG — The Atlantic Coast Conference has revealed its men's basketball scheduling matrix for the 2024-25 season as announced on ACC PM, Thursday afternoon.

Maintaining a 20-game conference slate with the additions of Cal, SMU and Stanford, the ACC schedule for 2024-25 will feature:
• Two games (home and away) versus each of the school's two current partners (Miami and Virginia)
• One repeat opponent (home and away). Each team plays one of the remaining 15 teams twice in a year (Clemson).
• The remaining 14 league opponents will be seven home only and seven away only.

Below is a breakdown of Tech's scheduling matrix for the 2024-25 season. The full conference schedule with specific game dates, times and networks will be announced early this fall.

2024-25
Home/Away: Clemson, Miami, Virginia
Home only: Louisville, North Carolina, NC State, Pitt, SMU, Syracuse, Wake Forest
Away only: Boston College, Cal, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Stanford

As previously announced by the league, the ACC men's and women's basketball tournaments will include only the top 15 teams at the end of the 2024-25 regular season. The 2025 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament will be contested March 11-15 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
