Women’s basketball ranked 11th in AP Poll Monday afternoon

The Virginia Tech women's basketball team is ranked 11th in the AP Poll the organization announced Monday afternoon.
 


The Hokies ended the regular season 23-6 and are the outright ACC champs after going 14-4 in league play. It's the first regular-season ACC title in program history and the 14 wins tie last season's squad for the most in a single season for the Hokies.
 
Tech will enjoy a double bye in the ACC Women's Championship and will not play until the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 8. They will take on the winner of eight seed North Carolina or nine seed Miami. That game tips off at 1:30 p.m. and can be seen on ACCN.
