We wrap up our newcomer series with Old Dominion transfer Mekhi Long. A double-double machine, Long led the Sun Belt Conference a season ago with 11 in that category. One of those double-doubles came against the Hokies in the Charleston Classic opener in November of last year. Long dialed up 10 points and 11 rebounds in Tech's 75-71 win over ODU.
The Hokies expect to play Long primarily at the "3-4" positions. The Bryans Road, Md., native has 767 career points and 613 career rebounds to his ledger.
