KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The 2023 USA Diving Winter Nationals concluded on Wednesday, December 6 at Allan Jones Aquatic Center. Virginia Tech's Jacob Fisher and alumnus Noah Zawadzki represented the Hokies throughout the competition.
Fisher showed off his skills throughout the event. In the prelim/quarterfinal for the men's 1-meter springboard, he placed 23rd with a score of 265.25. He then competed in the men's 3-meter springboard prelim/quarterfinals where he placed 30th with a score of 270.60.
Zawadzki proved he still is a force on the boards. In the men's 3-meter springboard prelim/quarterfinal round, Zawadzki finished 19th with a score of 286.25. In the semifinals, he improved his score to finish 15th with a score of 323.15. Zawadzki also competed in the prelim/quarterfinal round of the men's 1-meter springboard where he placed 20th with a score of 272.35.
