As Week 6 of the NFL season concludes and the excitement builds for an eventful Week 7, all eyes are once again on former Virginia Tech players making their mark at the professional level. With plenty of maroon and orange scattered across the league, there continue to be many opportunities to see Hokies perform on Sundays in the fall.

Notable Week 6 Performances
QB Tyrod Taylor
In the New York Giants' lineup, 13-year veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor displayed his skills against Buffalo. Taylor's performance was commendable, as he completed 24 of 36 passes for 200 yards, with his longest completion going for 31 yards. Additionally, he contributed 24 yards on the ground on five rushes. Taylor's performance was also reflected in his Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades, as he received a noteworthy 30-point increase, culminating in an offensive grade of 77.8 for his performance this past weekend.
 
CB Kendall Fuller
In Washington's victory over Atlanta, cornerback Kendall Fuller delivered a standout performance, tallying a season-high nine tackles. Fuller's performance was highlighted by his second interception of the season, when he expertly read and jumped a route in the third quarter, returning the ball to the Atlanta Falcons' 25-yard line. Additionally, the cornerback showcased his coverage skills by recording two pass breakups.
 
T Christian Darrisaw
Offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw has elevated his performance to new heights, consistently earning high-performance ratings from Pro Football Focus (PFF). Against the Chicago Bears, he registered the highest PFF grade for all offensive tackles with an 85.3 offensive grade. His proficiency in pass blocking is highly touted, as he boasts a remarkable 89.1 grade in pass blocking. These outstanding ratings solidify his exceptional ability to anchor the offensive line.
 
LB Tremaine Edmunds
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds had an impactful game, amassing six tackles, one pass breakup and secured Chicago's sole turnover of the game. After his starting performance this past weekend, New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor is gearing up to face three former Hokies next Sunday. This trio includes cornerback Kendall Fuller, kicker Joey Slye, and tight end Logan Thomas.
