HOUSTON – Virginia Tech forward Justyn Mutts tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds, but the West squad outlasted the East 104-99 in overtime Friday evening in the NABC Division I Reese's All-Star game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Mutts, who finished his college career with over 1,500 points, 1,000 rebounds and 400 assists, connected on 4 of 8 from the floor to go along with a game-high 11 rebounds and four assists.
Norfolk State's Joe Bryant, Jr. was named the MVP of the East team behind a game-high 22 points while New Mexico's Morris Udeze was the West team MVP. The West had five double-figure scorers, led by Dexter Dennis' 17.
