BLACKSBURG – Coming off a 17-11 win over Elon on Wednesday, Virginia Tech welcomes Pitt to Blacksburg for a noon ACC tilt on Saturday. Following the game, the Hokies will host a free youth clinic for kids of all ages. No equipment is necessary and participants will be separated by age groups.

THE SERIES
- The Hokies are 1-0 all-time against Pitt after defeating the Panthers last season in the program's inaugural year.
- In the first meeting on March 5, 2023, Tech walked away with a 12-11 victory in 2OT. The victory marked Virginia Tech's first ACC win under Kristen Skiera.
- Claire Schotta had a career day against the Panthers, scoring a career-high four goals for the Hokies.

RISHKO'S CAREER DAY
- Only five games into her young career, Ella Rishko had her best outing so far in a Virginia Tech uniform on Wednesday scoring five goals.
- The Rehoboth Beach, Del. native scored twice in the second quarter then tacked on three more in the third quarter to lead the Hokies.
- Entering the game, Rishko had two career goals - both scored in the season opener against VCU.
BLAIR'S TEAR CONTINUES
- Blair Guy's breakout sophomore campaign continued against Elon on Wednesday, as she scored four goals. The La Plata, Md. native leads the team in goals with 13 through six games.
- Guy has four multi-goal games this season, which ties her with Vergano as the most on the team.
