BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech lacrosse team (1-1) will play their first home game of the season on Saturday, February 19 at 1 p.m. against in-state foe VCU.
Tech earned a historic victory Wednesday evening defeating No. 13 JMU 10-9 after freshman Olivia Vergano's game winner with about two minutes left in the game. It was the Hokies' first victory over the Dukes in 19 attempts.
VCU is 1-1 after falling to national-ranked Johns Hopkins and defeating ODU 11-9 on Wednesday evening.
