GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jordan Chrysostom and Ryan Fishback were named the ACC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
The duo, which qualified for the 2021 NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship last season, picked up a ranked win in the first weekend of the season on Sunday. Chrysostom and Fishback defeated No. 43 Andrew Fenty/Nino Ehrenschneider, 6-3, as the Hokies clinched the doubles point against No. 17 Michigan.
Tech's tandem comes into the spring season unranked after not playing together in the fall, but they earned the No. 10 spot in the preseason doubles rankings back in September 2021.
Last season, Chrysostom and Fishback picked up four ranked wins, including a win over No. 4 ranked Carl Soderlund and William Woodall from Virginia.
The Hokies return to play on Friday afternoon against Harvard inside the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
