BLACKSBURG – With senior Angel Robinson leaving her mark at the net on Friday night, the Virginia Tech volleyball team did its best while trying to defend home court against Florida State, despite losing in straight sets at Cassell Coliseum (25-14, 25-19, 25-14).
Robinson delivered six kills for the Hokies on 16 attacks, remaining errorless in the front row to chart a .375 hit percentage. The veteran middle played a part in each of Tech's three team blocks while serving two of the team's three aces during the contest.
